Personal Statement

As an experienced Nurse Practitioner who cares for patients with gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) and hiatal hernias, I am dedicated to optimizing patient outcomes through evidence-based assessments, personalized treatment plans, and ongoing management. My expertise lies in diagnosing, treating, and managing these conditions, focusing on minimizing symptoms, preventing complications, and improving overall quality of life.

I have a comprehensive understanding of the pathophysiology, risk factors, and latest therapeutic options for reflux and hiatal hernias, including pharmacological management, lifestyle interventions, and advanced diagnostic tools. Through a patient-centered approach, I collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic care that addresses acute and chronic aspects of these conditions.

With a commitment to education and empowerment, I guide patients in understanding their conditions, making informed decisions about their care, and incorporating sustainable lifestyle changes to enhance long-term health outcomes. My goal is to provide compassionate, evidence-based care that promotes optimal digestive health and improves the patient experience.

I partner with Rasa Zarnegar in the Endocrine and Minimally Invasive Surgery practice at °ÅÀÖÊÓƵ.
